Dunith Wellalage was the star of the show for Sri Lanka, bamboozling the Indian batters on a spin-friendly wicket.
The Indians were cruising at 80 for no loss at the start of the match, with captain Rohit Sharma scoring yet another quickfire fifty, and becoming the second-fastest batter to complete 10,000 ODI runs along with it.
However, Wellalage picked up a wicket off his very first ball to kickstart the procession. Kohli and Rohit too perished soon after, and while KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan got a partnership going, Wellalage returned to send both of them back.
The 20-year-old completed his quota of 10 overs just the way he started it, picking up a wicket off his final ball to complete a dream 5-wicket haul.
Part-timer Charith Asalanka then piled more misery on the Indians, managing to take 4 lower-order wickets in quick succession to restrict India to 213-all out.
