Eight teams to get automatic qualification for the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that eight teams will get automatic qualification for the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup, scheduled to be played in Bangladesh.

The remaining 2 spots will be decided by a global qualifier which will be played in early 2024.

Australia, New Zealand and South Africa earned automatic qualification by being the top 3 teams in Group 1 while England, India and the West Indies earned the same by being the top 3 teams in Group 2 in the league stage of the Women's T20 World Cup.

Bangladesh have qualified for the tournament as hosts and Pakistan earned their spot by being the next highest-ranked side in the T20I rankings.
