Former Aussie wicketkeeper-batter Ian Healy is not letting the pitch debate go cold as he slammed India for not allowing Australia to practice on the Nagpur pitch after defeat in the 1st Test.
In a chat with SEN Radio, he called it 'pathetic'. 'It's really embarrassing, the scuppering of our plans to get some practice sessions on that Nagpur wicket. That's just not good for cricket,' Healy added.
Australia had requested to have a few practice sessions on the turning track but according to reports, the wicket was watered.
Calling the decision 'horrible', Healy requested the ICC to take an action, saying, 'if you request certain conditions to practice and prepare on, you must get them'.
