Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson feels that if Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah will not be available for the T20 World Cup this year then there is no other bowler who can be said to be a perfect replacement for the talented pacer.
The 28-year old fast bowler has been ruled out of the 3-match T20I series against South Africa due to injury and will be in a race against time to return back to fitness before the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia starting from October 16.
Mohammed Siraj has replaced the bowler for the time being in the Indian squad.
"There is no like-for-like replacement for Bumrah in the world, leave alone India. It is going to be very hard to find those defensive bowlers in trying to close the game when they are bowling last or close out an innings as well." said Watson in an interview.
