India's cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar opened up on his son's cricket career and said that he wants Arjun to have the freedom of falling in love with the game.
While talking in 'In-depth with Graham' show, Sachin explained his reasoning, and said, "when fathers and mothers watch their children play, they get stressed and that’s why I don’t go and watch Arjun, because I want him to have that freedom to fall in love with cricket – to stay focused on what he wants to do."
Sachin further said that even when he watches Arjun Tendulkar's game, he chooses to hide somewhere and not even his coach knows that he is watching the game.
Notably, unlike his father, Arjun Tendulkar is a left-arm fast bowler. Arjun is currently part of Mumbai's Ranji team. He was picked by Mumbai Indians for Rs 30 lakh during IPL 2022 mega auctions.
