Rishabh Pant, who survived a horrific car crash, has not been getting any time to rest due to a steady stream of visitors, his family told the Times of India.
Pant's family expressed their concern that high-profile visitors, which include legislators, ministers and actors keep coming to meet him irrespective of the prescribed visiting hours.
A medical team member said that Rishabh needs sufficient time to rest, not just physically but mentally too and as he speaks to visitors, which drains his energy that should be preserved for faster recovery.
Meanwhile, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter has been shifted to a private ward in a Dehradun hospital to prevent the risk of infection, DDCA director Shyam Sharma told India Today.
