Ever since KL Rahul took India's charge as a captain in the absence of Rohit Sharma, he has found himself in the line of fire. But the opening batter has hit back at his critics.
During a chat with Sports Today, Rahul said that losses make you so much stronger than starting off with victories. 'My career has always been that way. I have always got everything slowly. I am confident in my leadership skills and I know that I can bring out the best from my players. I know I can do well for my country and franchise,' added the 29-year-old.
Rahul was roped in by the new IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants for ₹17 crores ahead of the mega auction and will lead the new IPL team from the 2022 edition.
