After Pakistani veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik was not considered for the T20 World Cup squad, former all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez made a big revelation.
While lauding Malik for maintaining great fitness levels despite playing for over two decades, Hafeez revealed that when he took retirement from international cricket, he had asked Shoaib to do the same.

Hafeez added that he knew Malik won't be respected as was evident in his own case.
The former Pakistani all-rounder also stated PCB has always fallen short when it comes to bidding players farewell.
40-year-old Malik represented the Men In Green in 446 matches and scored 11,867 international runs.
