ICC's new Future Tours Program (FTP) is out and Team India is scheduled to play 20 Test matches in the new cycle.
The FTP starts with an away 2-match series against Bangladesh in December 2022.
India will then host Australia for 4 Tests in February and March next year in the much-awaited Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The Subcontinental giants will then tour West Indies and South Africa for two-match Test series each.
In 2024, India will host England, Bangladesh and New Zealand, while also travel to Australia. It will then travel to England in 2025 for a five-match Test series before hosting West Indies and South Africa. In 2026, India will host Afghanistan in a one-off Test match and take a trip to Sri Lanka and New Zealand. India's final Test series of the 2023-27 cycle will be against Australia at home.
The 12 full members of the ICC will play a total of 777 international matches 173 Tests, 281 ODIs and 323 T20Is in the 2023-2027 FTP cycle compared to the 694 in the current one.
