Suryakumar Yadav continues to make huge strides in world cricket as he leapfrogged Pakistan's Babar Azam to take 2nd spot in the new ICC T20I rankings for batters.
Surya has been in sublime form and a fiery 69 off 36 balls in the series-deciding 3rd T20 vs Australia helped him jump a place on the charts.
The 32-year-old had gone past the Pakistani skipper last week to take 3rd spot but Babar has now reclaimed it on the back of his 2nd T20I hundred which he smashed during the T20 series vs England.
In the ICC T20I rankings for bowlers, Axar Patel, who has filled Ravindra Jadeja's shoes perfectly for India, jumped 11 places to take the 18th spot.
