Suryakumar Yadav continues to make huge strides in world cricket as he leapfrogged Pakistan's Babar Azam to take 3rd spot in the new ICC T20I rankings for batters.
Surya jumped one spot after his stunning 25-ball 46 against Australia in the first of a 3-match T20I series in Mohali on Tuesday. Virat Kohli however, dropped a spot to No. 16. and Mohammad Rizwan continues to hold the No. 1 spot.
Hardik Pandya was also rewarded for a consistent show as he broke into the top 5 of the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings. Hardik smashed an unbeaten 30-ball-71 in the 1st T20I in Mohali and has been decent with the ball ever since his international return after IPL 2022.
