With a view to sustainability, the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is being built in New York for a total of eight matches of the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup, including the marquee India-Pakistan clash.
On January 18, the International Cricket Council unveiled images of the stadium and revealed some details related to it.
It will be a 34,000-seat stadium where grandstands, previously used for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, are being repurposed for the T20 World Cup venue.
The stadium will feature an array of seating options including premium and general admission, VIP and hospitality suites, as well as a unique party deck and cabanas.
Drop-in pitches will be used throughout the country for the entirety of the tournament.
