India will look to continue their winning run against Pakistan in the world cup. India came victorious in two games played against Pakistan.

However, the focus will be on the Indian bowling unit as they looked out of sorts leading up to the ICC Women's ODI World Cup.

In the build-up to the marquee tournament, Indian batters scored in excess of 250 runs five times but the bowlers failed to defend those.

While talking to media ahead of the tournament, India captain Mithali Raj said the team will take confidence from the past series and warm-up games.

"How you negotiate the conditions in the middle, how you play according to the situation is just very important, " Mithali added.

India's bowling unit will be led by veteran bowler Jhulan Goswami, who is probably playing her last World Cup.

Meanwhile, the onus to provide a good start will be on Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana. The middle-order will be boosted by the experienced Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur.
