Australian opener David Warner is ruled out of the final two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy due to an elbow fracture.
He will be heading home to Sydney to recover but he is expected to return to India for the three-match ODI series at the end of March.
Warner had suffered a hairline fracture in his left elbow after receiving a blow courtesy of a Mohammed Siraj delivery during the first innings of the second Test in Delhi.
Warner had also been hit on the helmet a few overs later resulting in concussion symptoms due to which he had to be subbed out of the match.
While the concussion issue had been sorted out, the elbow fracture will rule the Aussie veteran out of the last 2 Test against India.
