The pitches used in the Nagpur & Delhi Tests between India and Australia have been rated 'average' by ICC Match Referee Andy Pycroft.

There are six distinct classifications, Very Good, Good, Average, Below Average, Poor and Unfit. Only when a pitch is rated below average, poor or unfit, only then it attracts demerit points.

And even though both the Test matches finished within 3 days, there were no adverse reports about the two tracks.
