Australia captain Pat Cummins and coach Andrew McDonald have stressed that the success of their tours to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the past year will be a great platform to deliver a first series win in India in nearly two decades.
Cummins and McDonald were speaking to the media after the team's training session in Bangalore on Saturday.
The team will have one more day of practice session lined up in the southern Indian city before they depart to Nagpur - the venue of the first of the four Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
