Rohit Sharma has made his intentions clear. The Indian skipper still believes in the attacking approach that the Men in Blue have adapted in recent matches.

Ahead of the T20I series vs Australia, the Hitman said 'We will continue to play like that because that is something we spoke about quite clearly in the beginning and everyone is very comfortable with that.

At the same time, we know our second line of defence if we are in trouble. We have spent a lot of time talking about these kind of things and the guys are very clear. If we are 10/3, how do we need to bat. If we are 50/0, how we need to bat. All those things have been discussed a lot at length and it's now just about going and executing. If you see our Asia Cup as well, we posted par scores in all the games.'

Rohit also backed KL Rahul to open for the team at T20 World Cup 2022 but at the same time lavished praise on Virat Kohli and doesn't rule out him opening in a couple of games if need be.
