Batting wizard Virat Kohli added yet another feather to his illustrious cap as he became the fifth Indian batter to score 4000 Test runs at home.
Kohli achieved the feat on Saturday during India's final Test against Australia. He ended his over-a-year-long half-century drought in Tests on Day 3 with an unbeaten 59.
While Kohli breached the 4000 run mark in his 50th Test, Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 7216 runs following him is Rahul Dravid who has 5598 runs, the 3rd and 4th batters on the list are Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag.
Virat Kohli also surpassed Windies legend Brian Lara to become the 2nd highest scorer against Australia with a total of 4,729 runs overall. Lara, on the other hand, has 4, 714 runs. With 6707 runs in total, Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run-getter against Australia.
