Bangladesh Cricket Board has shifted the venue of the final game of the 3-match ODI series against India amid protest calls in the capital city of Dhaka.

India is set to play a 3-match ODI series and a 2-match Test series in Bangladesh, starting the 4th and 14th of December respectively. The ODI Series was to be played in Dhaka. While 2 ODIs of the 3-match series will still be played in Dhaka the final game has been shifted to Chittagong which will also host the Test series.

The decision has been taken to avoid a rally by the Bangladesh Nationalist party which is expected to stage a protest against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government on December 10, when the 3rd ODI is also scheduled.
