Dhruv Jurel's rescue operation with a valiant 90 on Day 3 of the fourth Test between India and England earned him top praise from veteran Sunil Gavaskar.
The legendary India batter, who was doing commentary on a broadcast channel, likened the 23-year-old to his idol MS Dhoni, arguably India's best keeper-batter in history.
'Watching the presence of mind of Dhruv Jurel makes me think he's the next MS Dhoni in the making,' Gavaskar asserted.
Jurel may have missed out on his century by a few runs, but Gavaskar was certain, 'Today he missed out on a century but make no mistake this young man will go on to score many centuries because of his presence of mind.'
