As Team India shift focus to the 2nd ODI vs New Zealand in Raipur, Rohit Sharma's men are in for a double bonanza.
While a win will give the Men in Blue an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series, it will also take them mighty close to the number 1 ranking in ODIs, a position held by the Kiwis as of now.
Team India is a force to reckon with at home and have won 10 of their last 11 ODIs in their own den. The form of Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli is also impressive.
Though the bowlers have also been up to the mark but Michael Bracewell did highlight a few areas of concern in the death.
Though the Blackcaps would fight hard to stay at the top of the rankings, it will be very hard to pull off only their 4th ODI win in India in the last 16 games.
