IND vs SA 2nd T20 preview: India vs South Africa playing XI prediction, streaming details & match timings : Amid all the talks around pacer Jasprit Bumrah's injury, Team India will be eyeing their first series win against South Africa when the two sides lock horns in the second T20 International at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Sunday (October 1).
If India win the second T20I, the home side will clinch their maiden series win against the Proteas in the shortest format at home. In the three T20 series since 2015, India failed to win any while South Africa clinched victory in one, the other two were drawn.
However, the major worry for captain Rohit Sharma will be the injury of his bowling spearhead Bumrah. In the absence of seasoned pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Bumrah, Indian bowlers stood up to the challenge. However, Bumrah’s stress fracture still comes as a body blow for Rohit Sharma.
Mohammad Siraj has been added to the squad as an injury replacement but Siraj along with Umesh, who’s also part of the current series , do not figure in the World Cup-bound squad as of now.
While Mohammed Shami, who is in the standbys for the World Cup, has recovered from Covid-19, nobody really knows when he will be match fit.

With a largely settled batting order, India are expected to stick to their winning combination unless they want to give Mohammed Siraj some match practice. Reports indicate Siraj could be named part of the travelling reserves for the T20 World Cup but the BCCI is yet to put their seal of approval on it.
India Playing XI (probable): Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Deepak Chahar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.
