South Africa took a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series after the visitors defeated India by 4 wickets in the second T20I at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

Defending a modest 149-target on a slow track, Bhuvneshwar Kumar made a superb start, taking three wickets in the powerplay.

Captain Temba Bavuma along with Henrich Klaasen stitched a 64-run stand for the 4th wicket and steadied the South African innings. Klaasen though went berserk after a slow start and ripped the Indian bowling apart, finishing with a 46-ball 81.

David Miller once again stayed unbeaten till the end and took the Proteas home with 10 balls to spare as Bhuvi's 4-wicket haul went in vain.

Earlier, Indian batters found it tough to get going against some tight bowling from South Africa. At the 15th over mark, India were struggling at 98-5 but a late flourish from Dinesh Karthik helped the hosts post a respectable 148 on the board.
