It was a drab end to an exciting 5-match T20I series between India and South Africa as both teams shared the honors after the series decider did not happen due to rain in Bengaluru. However, captain Rishabh Pant thinks there were a lot of positives for 'this Indian team'.
The hosts bounced back in the series after losing 2 straight matches at the beginning of the series. But the team showed resilience and levelled the series 2-2 by the 4th T20I. 'It might get a little bit frustrating, but there were a lot of positives, especially the way the whole team showed character after the series was 2-0, said Pant after the final match was called off due to incessant rain.
The 24-year-old batter also spoke about his responsibility as a batter and said that he could only think about giving 100% as a player and as a captain. Pant's batting has been under scrutiny after his below-par performance in the home series. He could only score 58 runs in 5 innings in the T20I series.
