IND vs SA ODI series: Team selection delayed over Captain Rohit Sharma's fitness

The ODI team selection for the South Africa tour has been delayed by the BCCI according to PTI.

The selection committee meeting which was supposed to pick a squad for the three-match ODI series in the Rainbow Nation has been delayed due to the fitness issues of white-ball captain Rohit Sharma.

Rohit made himself unavailable for the Test series against South Africa due to hamstring issues and instead did his rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru.

The BCCI wants clarity regarding Rohit's fitness before announcing the team as this will be his first ODI series after being appointed as the full-time captain
