After becoming the 3rd-fastest Indian pacer to take 200 Test wickets, an emotional Mohammed Shami remembered the struggles his father went through during his journey.
In an interview with the BCCI after his 5-wicket-haul rocked South Africa in the Centurion Test, Shami dedicated his unique celebration to his late father, who passed away in 2017 because of a heart attack.
Shami said that if he has achieved something, it's best to give that man the credit who made him who he is today. 'Special credit goes to him as he backed me throughout, added Shami.
