A new-look Team India will begin their home season with three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, starting Tuesday, at the Wankhede Stadium.
After scripting new records in 2022, Suryakumar Yadav got a promotion and was named as Hardik Pandya's deputy for the T20I series.
Youngsters Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Rahul Tripathi along with Sanju Samson are expected to get a game in absence of senior batters Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
Meanwhile, a young and dynamic pace attack led by Arshdeep Singh and Harshal Patel will look to put up a stiff fight against the Asian champions.
