Rohit Sharma on Sunday added yet another accolade in an already illustrious career as he became the most capped player in T20I history.
India's 3rd T20 vs Sri Lanka was Hitman's 125th T20I and has now gone ahead Shoaib Malik on the list. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are 2nd and 3rd on the list of Indians to have played the most international games in the shortest format.
Earlier in the series, Rohit became the leading run-getter in T20I cricket, going past New Zealand star Martin Guptill's tally of 3299 runs.
