Team India continued its dominance under Rohit Sharma as they beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the 3rd T20 to hand the visitors a 3-0 whitewash.
Batting first, Sri Lanka found themselves 5 down with just 60 runs in 12.1 overs. But skipper Dasun Shanaka once again stood tall with an unbeaten 38-ball-74. 68 runs off the last 5 overs helped the Lankans finish at 146/5.
Chasing which India lost its openers cheaply but it was Shreyas Iyer once again who counter attacked. The new KKR skipper smashed his 3rd consecutive half-century and remained unbeaten on 73. 15-ball-22 not out by Ravindra Jadeja helped India cross the finish line with 19 balls to spare.
With that, the Men in Blue extended its winning run T20I to 12 games, joint-most among all Test-playing nations.
