After handing Sri Lanka a 3-0 whitewash in the T20 series, Team India shift its focus from Blues to whites as the entire Test squad practised together in Mohali on Tuesday.
The 1st Test, which will be Virat Kohli's 100th international game in whites, hit the nets and was seen having a rigorous batting session. Ravichandran Ashwin, who is subject to fitness also hit the ground running.
Apart from them, Test regulars Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Hanuma Vihari, KS Bharat, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Mayank Aggarwal, who weren't part of the T20 series had already assembled in Chandigarh and had started soft training.
The 1st Test starts on Friday and it will mark Rohit Sharma's debut as India's red-ball captain.
