Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal became the second-fastest spinner after Kuldeep Yadav to complete 100 wickets in ODIs.
Chahal reached the feat during the first ODI between India and West Indies at Motera. Pacer Mohammed Shami was the fastest Indian bowler to complete 100 wickets as he reached the milestone in 56 matches while Chahal took 60 games.
Overall, Chahal became the 23rd India bowler to complete 100 scalps in ODI cricket. In the first of the three ODIs against the West Indies, Chahal returned with the figure of 4 for 49 as the visitors were bowled out for 176.
