In delighting news for fans, BCCI has accepted Cricket Association of Bengal's request to have bigger crowds at the Eden Gardens for the 3rd and final T20I vs the West Indies on February 20.
For the first two T20Is on Wednesday and Friday, some crowd has been allowed in the hospitality area and the Club House upper tier. The 3-match ODI series vs the Windies however was played behind closed doors in Ahmedabad.
The CAB was hopeful of hosting matches with spectators after the state government allowed 75 per cent capacity as the Covid-19 cases in the state had declined.
