The West Indies have made one change to their squad for the second Test against India, bringing in spin-bowling all-rounder Kevin Sinclair in place of batting all-rounder Raymon Reifer. This is the only change in the squad after the hosts suffered an innings defeat in the previous Test.
Sinclair, who has previously played in ODIs and T20Is, is yet to make his Test debut. However, Reifer will still be with the team as a cover for any injuries.
Earlier this year, Sinclair performed well as the leading wicket-taker for West Indies A in a series against Bangladesh A. He was also part of the West Indies squad in the ICC World Cup Qualifier but unfortunately, the team did not qualify for the main tournament in India.
Meanwhile, off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall, who experienced a chest infection in the series opener, has been retained in the squad.
The upcoming Test match will also mark the 100th Test between India and West Indies.
West Indies squad for the second Test: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Jermaine Blackwood (vice-captain), Alick Athanaze, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Rahkeem Cornwall, Joshua Da Silva (wk), Shannon Gabriel, Jason Holder, Alzarri Joseph, Kirk McKenzie, Kevin Sinclair, Kemar Roach, Jomel Warrican.
