The Indian cricket team has expressed their discontent with the travel arrangements from Trinidad to Barbados after the second Test match against West Indies. They have requested that no further night flights be booked for their travel.
According to the Indian Express, the team was scheduled to fly at 11 pm from Trinidad, reaching Barbados early in the morning. However, due to a delay, the flight took off only at 3 am, and they reached their destination by 5 am.
Due to the inconvenience faced by the players, the Indian team management has asked for better planning for their next destination, suggesting morning flights instead of late-night flights. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to the request and is working on revising the upcoming schedule accordingly.
Considering the exhaustive travel and late arrival, the top players have also requested the team management for a day off from practice upon reaching Barbados. This decision aims to give the players some much-needed rest after the game and the delayed flight.
