India vs Australia T20 series : India's final preparation for the T20 World Cup will start on September 20 when the Rohit Sharma-led side lock horns with Australia in the three-match T20 International series.
The Men In Blue had a disappointing outing in the recently concluded Asia Cup, where they failed to reach the final after facing two successive losses from Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Super 4.
The three-match series against Australia will allow the team management to find the perfect team combination ahead of their T20 World Cup opener against Pakistan on October 23.
However, Team India suffered a big setback ahead of the first match as Mohammed Shami tested positive for Covid-19. The seasoned pacer Umesh Yadav has been added into the Indian squad as a replacement for Shami.
The first match of the series will be played at PCA Stadium in Mohali while the series will conclude at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
