With the Test series against Australia less than 3 weeks away, Team India head coach Rahul Dravid has confirmed that the team will have a preparatory camp.
With no red-ball practice match scheduled before the all-important Test series, the preparatory camp is set to begin on February 2.
The head coach also stated that no players from the squad will be released to play Ranji Trophy. The Test series between India and Australia begins on February 9 in Nagpur.

In a press conference ahead of the 3rd ODI vs New Zealand, Dravid said: "We are quite keen to call a few guys in the lead-up for our preparation camp and have already agreed with the selectors that we will not be touching anyone who will be playing in the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals. If an opportunity presents itself where someone is not playing in our team and he is required for a semifinal or a final, we will certainly look at it."
