England batter Jonny Bairstow gave a befitting reply to Team India after an onfield argument with former captain Virat Kohli on Day 3 of the rescheduled fifth Test at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
Continuing with his great form, he slammed his third century in four innings.
Bairstow surprisingly was struggling against the Indian pacers in the final session on day 2. His struggles continued for a little while at the start of day 3 as well.

In fact, the 32-year-old was scoring at a strike rate of a mere 51 and got beaten on multiple occasions before Kohli and he were involved in a heated exchange.
The onfield argument though fired up the Yorkshireman! Bairstow's strike rate surged significantly and he went on to hit his 11th Test hundred before Mohammed Shami finally dismissed him for 106.
Notably, the English batter has been in great form recently and slammed two centuries against the Kiwis in consecutive Tests. He made a match-winning 136 in the second Test followed by 162 and 71 not out in the third and final Test.
