Team India survived a scare on Tuesday as they narrowly beat Ireland by 4 runs in the 2nd T20I in Dublin. With that, the Men in Blue whitewashed the hosts 2-0 in the series.
Hardik Pandya's decision to bat first proved to be the right one as India scored a mammoth 225/7. Deepak Hooda smashed his maiden T20I hundred and Sanju Samson too impressed with a 42-ball-77.
It seemed to be a huge ask for the Irish but they were up for the task. Skipper Andy Balbirnie set up the chase nicely with a 37-ball-60. Indian bowlers looked clueless as Harry Tector, George Dockrell and Mark Adair also chipped in with fiery knocks. However, India managed to barely stop Ireland from crossing the finish line as they could manage 221/5. With that, India has now won 10 out of their last 12 T20 series.
