After rain allowed just 59 overs to be bowled on the opening Day of the India vs South Africa 1st Test, Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test is likely to witness more showers.

Hourly Centurion weather forecast

According to AccuWeather, there is an 84% chance of rain in Centurion on Wednesday. There will be a 99% cloud cover throughout the day.

After some early morning showers, there is expected to be a stop-start rain from 12 PM to 2 PM local time. The match is scheduled to beging at 10 AM.

The MET department has predicted another spell of rain at around 4 PM. It will be interesting to see how quickly the groundstaff manage to get the pitch and outfield match ready.

India ended Day 1 at 208/8, with KL Rahul having dropped anchor at 70.
