While Shreyas Iyer made 64 off 40 opening the innings, Hooda scored 38 off 25 balls. A few lusty blows towards the end from the lower-middle order helped India post 188.

In reply, the Men from the Caribbean couldn’t survive the trial by spin. No batsman apart from Shimron Hetmyer could cope with the trio of Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav & Ravi Bishnoi, who picked up all 10 wickets.
