After a poor show in the 2nd T20I on Monday, Team India bounced back in style to go 2-1 up in the 5-match series against the West Indies.
Having won the toss, India put West Indies in to bat. Opening batsman Kyle Mayers smashed 73 off 50 balls to help the hosts past the 160-run mark from their 20 overs.
But it was never going to be enough!
Suryakumar Yadav, who went missing after his hundred against England, finally turned up in the Caribbean. The swashbuckling batsman was in full flow as he took the Windies bowlers to the cleaners.
Even though captain Rohit Sharma had to retire hurt due to an injury issue, Surya was in the mood for some fireworks. His explosive 76 off 44 kept India well ahead of the asking rate and even though he got out in the 15th over, Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten 33 saw India get home without any hiccups.
