Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on September 4 in Mumbai.

The duo announced the arrival of their son Angad on their social media handles shortly after his birth.

They wrote, 'Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it.'

Just a day earlier, it was reported that Bumrah flew back to Mumbai from Sri Lanka and will miss India's clash against Nepal due to personal reasons.
