After Ahmedabad, the Lucknow IPL franchise has picked its 3 players ahead of the IPL mega auction. According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, The RPSG Group has roped in KL Rahul, Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis and uncapped Indian legspinner Ravi Bishnoi are the other two.
The report added that Rahul cost them ₹15 crore, Stoinis ₹11 crore, and Bishnoi ₹4 crore. The Lucknow franchise will go into the February auction with a purse of ₹60 crore. KL Rahul has been one of the most consistent performers in the IPL but failed to lead his side Punjab Kings to win silverware. While Bishnoi played alongside him for Punjab, Stoinis used to play for the Delhi Capitals.
Both new teams were allowed to pick 3 players each ahead of the Mega Auction due to be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.
