England ace Jofra Archer who earlier was a part of the Rajasthan Royals franchise in the Indian Premier League has registered for the upcoming IPL mega auctions which are set to take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.
Archer who hasn't played international cricket since July 2021 due to his elbow injury has got himself listed in the highest reserve price category of Rs 2 crore. Along with him, 47 other players have set their base price at Rs 2 crore.

BCCI has informed the franchises about the 27-year-old's inclusion in the list and said that the ECB had registered Archer for the auction with a view to potential participation in 2023 and 2024 as due to his current injury it is unlikely that he can participate in IPL 2022.
Apart from Archer, 44 new players have been added to the initial list.
