Ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction, Indian batter Shubman Gill said that he would like to play for Kolkata Knight Riders forever if given a choice.
Gill made the comments in a short film released by KKR, which was a tribute from the franchise to the players who were part of the team.
Shubman further added that once you're associated with a franchise you would want to carry on playing for them forever.

Notably, Gill was released by KKR as the franchise choose to retain Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Venkatesh Iyer, and Varun Chakravarthy.
The 21-year old cricketer was bought by KKR in 2018 auctions for Rs 1.8 crore.
Shubman still has a chance to represent Kolkata if the franchise chooses to pick him in the IPL 2022 mega auction which is tentatively scheduled in the first week of February.
