Jasprit Bumrah left Team India on Sunday and returned to Mumbai mid-way Asia Cup 2023, Dainik Jagran reported.

The report further states that the Indian pacer is fully fit and returned home due to personal reasons.

Bumrah will miss India's Group game against Nepal but will be available for the Super 4 stage of the tournament.

If India go through to the Super Four stage, their next game after Monday will be on September 10.

Bumrah had recently returned to the Indian side after recoving from a back injury and had played on the Ireland series. He played the Asia Cup game against Pakistan but India didn't get to bowl due to rain.
