India's premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will most likely miss the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
According to a report in Cricbuzz, the 29-year-old will be out of action for a few more months and his chances of playing IPL 2023 along with the World Test Championship final are very slim.
Bumrah, who has been out of action since September 2022 due to a stress fracture issue, missed the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup last year.
The report further claims that BCCI wants Bumrah to be fit for the ODI World Cup in October-November and is not ready to risk the progress he's made during his rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
