Fanboy Joshua Da Silva, despite being a part of the opposing team had made it amply clear that he and his mother are Virat Kohli's ardent fans. On Day 1 of the ongoing second Test in Port of Spain, he had told the Indian superstar that his mother had come to watch him bat and requested him to smash a 100.
Virat Kohli too obliged the request as he not only ended his five-year-long drought for an international Test century overseas but also met Da Silva's mother Caroline.
After the end of Day's play, Kohli met Caroline near the Team bus. As soon as Da Silva's mother saw him she hugged him, gave him a kiss and got some pictures clicked before breaking down in tears.
Journalist Vimal Kumar shared the adorable video of the duo which is now being loved by the netizens.
His emotional mother later said that she wished that her son could also emulate Kohli's remarkable feat.
She said, 'I told Joshua I was coming to see Virat Kohli and not him because I see him every day. That was the first time I met Virat Kohli and he was wonderful as he is - a beautiful blessed human being. He is so talented I hope my son emulates him'
