King on and off the field! Virat Kohli becomes first cricketer to reach 50 million followers on Twitter

He is not just King Kohli on the field but off it as well. Virat continued to rule social media as he became the first cricketer on the planet to reach 50 million followers on Twitter.

The former India captain has a big presence on social media already. With over 211 million followers on Instagram, Virat is the most followed Indian on that platform. Add to that his 49 million followers on Facebook, and Kohli's overall social media presence goes over 310 million followers.

King Kohli recently struck form and got to his 71st international hundred when he smashed an unbeaten 122 vs Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022.
