Indian cricketer Mayank Agarwal had a humorous take on his recent health scare while taking a flight from Tripura. The 33-year-old shared a photo of himself carrying his water bottle on flight, a call back to the time he fell ill onboard an Indigo airplane after drinking an unidentified liquid.
Only this time he was prepared with his own bottle, a picture of which was captioned ‘Bilkul risk nahi lene ka re baba.’
Agarwal was admitted to a hospital on January 31 after falling sick mid-flight. His manager later lodged a police complaint alleging foul play. “I am feeling better now. Gearing to comeback. Thank you for prayers, love and support, everyone,” the cricketer wrote on social media the next day.
Agarwal, who scored 51 and 17 in the match against Tripura, was supposed to travel with the whole team to Surat via Delhi, when the incident happened.
"The team was on flight and apparently Agarwal started feeling uneasy and vomited a couple of times while sitting on the flight. Since he started feeling sick, he de-boarded,” a Tripura Cricket Association official had told PTI then.
